
Sara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist presently affiliated with CNBC. She serves as co-anchor on the channel's shows 'Squawkon the Street', as well as Closing Bell'. A native of Ohio native She was not fascinated by the market and currencies while in college. While attending New York University, she did an internship with the start-up site ForexTV.com. This is where she had her first encounter with business news. She went on to earn a master's degree in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. The work experience was for 4 months at Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. When she returned to the US and began to work in Bloomberg's office in New York. She later became a TV anchor. CNBC hired her in December 2013 as reporter. Eisen has been co-anchor for 'Worldwide exchange' and 'Power Lunch' before landing the position on 'Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen co-anchors 'Squawk on the Street' since the year 2014. Her primary focus since her arrival at CNBC is global news for consumers.
