Anamaria Marinca is a Romanian born actress. She won an award called the British Academy Television Award of Best Actress in The Channel 4 Film Sex Traffic. French, German English and Romanian are fluent languages. The father of her mother was an actor as well as her mother was a violinist. In 2000, the young Actor Gala Mangalia awarded her the Best Female Actor Award of 2000. In 2008, she was honoured as an European Shooting Star" by the European Film Promotion Board. Anamaria Marinca, an actress with Romanian descent was the first actress to screen in the television series British-Canadian called Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress for this role. Aside from her brilliant role in Sex Traffic Anamaria Marinca will be remembered by the character she played in Romanian artist-directed film 4 Months 3, Weeks, 2 Days. The film was awarded several awards, including the European Film Award Best Actress from the London Film Critics. She was in 2007 the lead role in on the Romanian film 4 luni 3 weeks si2 zile (4 Three Weeks, Four Months 3 Weeks, 2 days) which was directed by Cristian Mungiu. The film won two prizes at the Cannes Film Festival (the Cinema Prize for the French National Education System & the FIPRESCI Prize). Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was a different film where she starred. She portrayed Yasim Awar on BBC's five-episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca was a guest in the Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegels Five Minutes of Heaven. In the feature film Fury (2014) the actress appeared as Irma she was an German woman, who was Emma's aunt.
